Obituary for Marcus Grant Clowney

Marcus Grant Clowney
Marcus Grant Clowney, age 22 of Jackson, died on September 6, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained subsequent to a car accident. Marcus was born in Neptune to Elizabeth Colón and Edwin Lamarr Clowney. He grew up in Jackson and was a 2013 graduate of Jackson Liberty High School where he was a member of the football and lacrosse teams. Marcus was known for his determination and was a rising star at DCH Freehold Toyota where he was currently employed.

He enjoyed life to the fullest and could light up a room with his smile. Marcus will be remembered for his laughter, kindness and wonderful personality. He had a heart of gold and as an organ donor the family takes comfort in knowing that he will be giving others the gift of life.

Marcus is survived by his parents Elizabeth Colón and Edwin Lamarr Clowney; grandmother Sonia Bueno; grandparents Shirley and Cato Clowney; sisters Elana M. Clowney and Tia C. Hill; brother Kyle Clowney; and a host of relatives and friends.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, September 14th from 5-8 pm at Hope Cathedral, 46 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Facebook fundraiser for Marcus Clowney. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence, light a memorial candle or make a memorial donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
