Obituary for Bruce A. Bradley, Sr.

Bruce A.  Bradley, Sr.
Bruce A. Bradley, Sr., age 84 of Monmouth Beach, died on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Bruce was born in Long Branch and was a lifelong resident of Monmouth Beach. He graduated from Worcester Academy in Massachusetts and attended Brown University.

Bruce was a Monmouth Beach Commissioner for 19 years and was a 54 year member of the Monmouth Beach Fire Department. He was also a long time member of the Monmouth Beach Board of Education and the Monmouth Beach Recreation Department. Bruce was a supervisor at Kiely Construction for 42 years retiring 20 years ago. Bruce was a parishioner of Church of the Precious Blood in Monmouth Beach.

He was predeceased by his sister, Carol Pierson. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Rita Ferrugiaro Bradley; two sons, Bruce Bradley, Jr. and his wife Mary Ann, Keith Bradley and his wife Bari; two daughters, Debra Connor and her husband William, Donna West and her husband Peter; his sister Beverly McClave; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer Campbell, Andrew West, Victoria Remedios, Keith Bradley, Jillian Werner, Alexandra Bradley, Elizabeth West, Jacqueline Bradley, Scott Bradley and Bette Bradley and 6 great grandchildren, Aiden, Liam, Trey, Blakely, Aubrey and Lilliana.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 12 from 1-5 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. in Long Branch. Funeral Monday, 11:00 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 12:00 pm at Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Monmouth Beach First Aid Squad, 24 Beach Rd., Monmouth Beach, NJ 07750 or the Monmouth Beach Fire Department, 26 Beach Rd., Monmouth Beach, NJ 07750. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence, light a memorial candle or make a memorial donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
