Obituary for John "Jack" Malley

John "Jack" Malley
John "Jack" Malley, 80 of Oceanport, died peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, he grew up in Monmouth Beach before coming to Oceanport 53 years ago. John was an electrician with IBEW Local 400 in Wall for 20 years before retiring in 1980. He served his country honorably in the US Navy and Marines and was a parishioner and altar server at the Church of the Precious Blood in Monmouth Beach.

Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Teresa Malley; 2 nephews, Thomas Malley and John M. Malley and his wife Eileen; and a great niece and 5 great nephews, Christine, Thomas P., Patrick, Johnny 5, Michael and Matthew.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, November 15 from 10 am until the time of the Mass at 11 am at the Church of the Precious Blood, 72 Riverdale Ave in Monmouth Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Monmouth Beach Fire Department, 26 Beach Road, Monmouth Beach, NJ 07750. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence, light a memorial candle or make a memorial donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
