Obituary for Nanette Harris

Nanette Harris
Nanette Harris passed away on Tuesday, February 20th at Beth Israel Hospital, Newark, NJ after a long illness.
Nanette adored her children and grandchildren and was so proud of their accomplishments. She shared many stories and beamed as she told them; you could actually feel the love she had for her family. Her best times were when she was with her children and grandchildren.

She went to Long Branch High School and was proud to “be from Long Branch”. Nanette loved life and enjoyed going to shows and spending time with her lifelong friends. Those times truly meant a lot to her. She was the proud owner, along with her father, of Chicken Towne, in Toms River. Nanette always took the lead in her career to ensure the job was done right. She was a hard worker and a force to be reckoned with.

She was loved by those who knew her and will be truly missed. Nanette is pre-deceased by her father Nathan (Zeus) Harris, and mother Beatrice (Hyams), her father and mother in law John and Anna Moser, and her ex-husband John Moser who she cared for deeply. She is survived by her loving daughter Deanna Moser, loving son John J. Moser and wife Christy, and loving daughter Shana Jaqui DeCausey. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren AJ and Tristan, and Gianna and Giuliana Moser.

A service will be held at Damiano’s Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, Long Branch, NJ at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 24th. The family invites you to write a letter condolence, light a candle or share a story by selecting the appropriate tab.
